The city says its cheapest park sites cost $50 a block, with larger shelters costing more, and the fee rises $25 per block for each extra 100 expected guests. Putting anything on the grass (a bounce house, dunk tank or canopy, or driving one vehicle on for catering or a grill) adds a $30 turf fee. Food truck parking at Midway and Orah Brandt costs $75 per block (2026 handbook). With proof of status, nonprofits and schools pay half for picnic shelters (rate sheet).
Before booking
- Bookings open up to 180 days ahead, go to whoever asks first, and a date isn't held until it is fully paid.
