About West Park
West Park has a disc golf course, a pond and a community garden across about 36 acres in Nampa, with the Phyllis Canal running by. For sports there's a ball field, bleachers, basketball and volleyball courts and horseshoes, and for a picnic there's a pavilion, picnic tables and a grill. Walking and bike trails, a playground, restrooms and parking cover everything else.

Confirm the price with the operator
Listed prices are not checkout totals. Confirm rental duration, resident eligibility, fees and deposits before paying. Rental times are Mountain time.
The city says its cheapest park sites cost $50 a block, with larger shelters costing more, and the fee rises $25 per block for each extra 100 expected guests. Putting anything on the grass (a bounce house, dunk tank or canopy, or driving one vehicle on for catering or a grill) adds a $30 turf fee. Food truck parking at Midway and Orah Brandt costs $75 per block (2026 handbook). With proof of status, nonprofits and schools pay half for picnic shelters (rate sheet).
Before booking
- Bookings open up to 180 days ahead, go to whoever asks first, and a date isn't held until it is fully paid.
- Picnic shelters rent in two blocks: late morning (11) to 4 p.m., and 4 p.m. until dark (the rate sheet and 2026 handbook start the second block at 4:30).
- Bounce houses are allowed only at a reserved site, with proof of liability insurance that adds the city as an insured party.
- City code bans alcohol in parks; the event handbook allows it only with approval through the special event application.
