Before booking
- On weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests must use the park's north lot, not the City Hall lot.
- Book at least 48 hours (2 business days) ahead. A date isn't held until the form is approved and paid.
- Alcohol, glass containers and animals aren't allowed in Hayden parks.
- More than 125 guests, or any vendor, needs a separate event permit.
- Refunds: the form gives 80% back if you cancel more than a week ahead, while the rules sheet says at least two weeks ahead. Bad weather means a new date, not a refund.
- Some shelters have power and some don't.
- No stakes; tents and bounce houses must be held down with water or sandbags.
- The booking covers the shelter only; the rest of the park stays open to the public.
- The form says facilities are available 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., including setup and cleanup; the rules sheet says dawn to dusk.
- Smoking only in designated areas, and no food or product sales.
