About Veterans Memorial Park

Disc golf, fishing and birding all share Veterans Memorial Park, about 68 acres on the Boise River with the Greenbelt running through and Crane Creek nearby. There's also a playground with slides, open lawn and walking and bike paths. A reservable pavilion, restrooms and parking make it easy to bring a group.

Listed prices are not checkout totals. Confirm rental duration, resident eligibility, fees and deposits before paying. Rental times are Mountain time.

Most reservation fees are taxed on top of the listed price. Add-on permits cost extra: $40 for amplified sound (only with a reservation) and $10 for beer/wine. Canceling more than 10 days out gets a refund less a $20 processing fee; later cancellations and bad weather get no refund, and moving a date or site can carry a processing fee. Extra picnic tables cost more at Kristin Armstrong Municipal, Julia Davis and Ann Morrison parks. The city says fees can vary by event or facility.

  • Canopies must be weighted rather than staked, and any tent over 400 square feet needs a Boise Fire Department permit.
