Sandpoint has most of Bonner County's parks, and walking and bike trails run through many of them, with Humbird Mill Park opening onto the Pend d'Oreille Bay Trail. City Beach & Windbag Marina is the largest at about 22 acres, and Travers Park and Lakeview Park are next in size, with ball fields and tennis and pickleball courts between them.
Away from Sandpoint, Priest River City Park has a renovated playground with a double-track zip line and a merry-go-round, and McNearney Park in Ponderay pairs a pump track with a playground and swings. Skaters have Travers and Hickory Park in Sandpoint and 4-H Park in Priest River.
