Parks in Kootenai County

69 parks found

Most of Kootenai County's parks are in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls, with more in Rathdrum, Hayden and Athol. Several sit on the North Idaho Centennial Trail, and the water is a big part of the draw: Coeur d'Alene City Park, Q'emiln Park and Black Bay Park have swimming beaches, and McEuen Park has a boat launch and mooring.

Q'emiln Park is the biggest at about 77 acres, on the south channel of the Spokane River in Post Falls, with a climbing wall and its own set of trails. Black Bay Park and Corbin Park, also in Post Falls, add fishing, and Corbin, on the Spokane River, has a disc golf course.

For a splash pad, head to McEuen, Landings or Bluegrass in Coeur d'Alene, Tullamore or Syringa in Post Falls, or Majestic Park in Rathdrum. Dog parks are at McEuen, Riverstone and Northshire in Coeur d'Alene and Croffoot Park in Hayden, and Coeur d'Alene City Park adds a skate park and a BMX track.
